The Shepparton United Football Netball Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Holly Egan on being selected at Pick 34 in the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft by Fremantle.
Holly’s talent, dedication, and passion for the game have earned her a well-deserved place at the elite level, and we’re thrilled to see her take this next exciting step in her football journey.
We were fortunate to welcome Holly to SUFNC for the 2024 season, having previously played with the Shepparton Swans. Although her commitments to the Coates Talent League meant we didn’t get to see her in the red and blue as much as we would have liked, her presence around the club was a testament to her professionalism and drive.
Holly now proudly follows in the footsteps of other SUFNC Youth Girls who have gone on to AFLW success, including:
- Aurora Smith – Pick 25, 2021 AFLW Draft – Western Bulldogs
Debuted in 2022 - Cassidy Mailer – 2022 AFLW Draft – North Melbourne Kangaroos
- Keeley Skepper – Pick 17, 2022 AFLW Draft – Carlton

Holly’s draft selection continues to highlight the strength and success of our Female Football Program and the development pathway at SUFNC. We couldn’t be prouder to have played a small part in her journey, and we’ll be cheering her on as she takes on the AFLW stage with the Dockers.
