ANZAC Day holds deep significance in local football and netball clubs because our clubs are more than teams, we are a community.
The values we remember on ANZAC Day, courage, resilience, unity, and mateship are the same values we see on our courts and fields every weekend.
Whether it’s supporting a teammate through a tough match, playing with heart, or standing together for a minute’s silence, our club lives and breathes the ANZAC spirit.
Many of our members also have personal or family ties to military service, which makes this round even more meaningful. ANZAC Day is our chance to honour their service, bring generations together, and show our gratitude in the way we know best: standing side by side in unity.
