Sharon first became a member of Shepparton United in 1980.  Sharon returned to United in 2009 when her son Mat was asked to train with United and then to play in a thirds' match as a 15 year old while playing for Notre Dame.  Sharon then provided assistance to the Thirds' as Team Manager and has been the Secretary of the Club from September 2012 to 2019 and from September 2021 to present.  She is the club delegate to the GVFL, Match Day Secretary and oversees football registrations and helps out wherever required.
